Group RMC and its principals have been investing alongside families, wealth advisors and institutions since 1986.
Our focus is, and always has been building long-term value. Over market cycles, we found deep value opportunities in the most significant market dislocations in North America. During the 1986 Savings and Loan Crisis, we as part of a consortium acquired over time a relatively large multi-family portfolio in Texas, which was then sold to Sam Zell's Equity Residential REIT. After the Quebec Referendum in the late 1990s, we as part of a consortium acquired office and industrial assets throughout the province, the majority of which were sold in 2007. In the aftermath of the Great Financial Crisis in 2008 in, we acquired over time a significant office portfolio across the Midwest and Southeast United States.
